7 Days Until Christmas

With all the shopping, wrapping, and decorating going on around here lately, it seemed to me that was what Christmas was all about. But mommy bought me this book called What is Christmas? and we read it tonight. It explains that Christmas is a celebration of baby Jesus' birthday.

I will enjoy my presents, but this book will help me to remember what we are all really celebrating!

8 Days Until Christmas

At my Nana's house we countdown to Christmas with this cute snowman advent calendar. Everyday we move the candy cane down and when we get to the bottom it will be Christmas!Nana & I kiss the snowman.

9 Days Until Christmas

Of course there are many "baby's first's this year." Here are my first ornaments. Daddy came home with this cute, pink snowman the other day with my name on it! My Nana had an ornament made especially for me too! It is hand painted & very pretty!

10 Days Until Christmas

Mommy has all this pretty tinsel around the house and I always want to touch it, but she never lets me. Today, she put some on the floor for me to play with. Are you sure it's okay, mommy?
What am I supposed to do with this stuff?
Now that I've got it, I don't really like it.

11 Days Until Christmas

I met Santa Claus for the first time ever this week. For being such a nice guy, he sure is scary the first time you see him. It must be all that red and the big white beard.

My mommy and Auntie Corinne liked Santa. Maybe someday soon I will too!
We had two Santa nights on the same day. First, at mommy's school (pictures above) then at Nana's work. I was in a really good mood, until I saw Santa, again.
This light up necklace that my mommy has is really fun and yummy.
Here, I didn't even know Santa had arrived, but he is passing out presents to kids. This might not be so bad after all.

Santa brought me a present. Mommy, can we see what's inside?Overall, my first evening with Santa was a little traumatic, but since my family was there with me, I was happy!

12 Days Until Christmas

We thought it might be fun to show you what is happening around our house during the holidays. So we are counting the 12 days left until Christmas with some new

I am almost ready to crawl, or maybe I will walk. I haven't decided yet. Either way, I will do it soon!

Happy Girl

I just love to smile and laugh. Almost anything my mommy and daddy do is pretty funny to me!

Piano

Someday soon I am going to take piano lessons. For now, my mommy just lets me play around.

What's pretty cool is that my Great Grandma Coyle took a picture of my Nana and my mommy at the piano a long time ago. See it below!

8 Months Old!

Mommy and Daddy keep saying that I am growing up too fast! I am pretty happy about it though :)

Happy Thanksgiving!

What I'm Thankful For...

Happy Thanksgiving! This morning mommy & daddy asked me what I was thankful for. Well, as you can see I am thankful for my binkie, and my other binkie, and my other binkie. I am thankful for my family too, but I really love my binkies :)
