Outside!

I LOVE to go outside! Mommy and I play out there for hours each day and when Daddy gets home, I grab his little finger and pull him out there too! One thing I am really good about is when Mommy or Daddy says I have to get my "shoe shoes" on before I can go outside. I go look for them and then sit and wait patiently until they are put on. Then I run for the door.

I really enjoy being pulled around in my car or on my trike. Here are some other fun things to do outside. I like to walk around the garden and look at the flowers...

...point out the birdies...
...and smell the flowers.

A face only a mother & father could love

I have been giving Mommy and Daddy this face a lot lately when I don't want to do things. It might be precious to you, but it seems to be really frustrating them!

At home with Mommy

I really love being at home with Mommy for the summer. Here are some of the things we have been doing.A few months ago I learned how to open doors. Mommy and Daddy are so excited about me learning this skill (NOT!). But anyway, it is really fun to play peek-a-boo from inside their closet.
Also, I learned how to do peek-a-boo myself. "I see you!!!"
I love this Cabbage Patch Baby. Here I am singing "Rockabye Baby" and rocking her to sleep.
What a "girly girl." I have my purse and my baby and I am ready to go!
I love to climb into and onto everything. When Mommy wasn't looking I got myself into this toy basket. She took a picture and then took me out.

Look at those Lips

This is the face I make when I am busy. My family loves this "busy face" and especially my pouty lips.

Binkie Girl

What is a girl to do when she just doesn't quite feel like herself? Convince mommy to hand you as many binkies as you can find. That is comfort for this girl! (in case you can't tell: I have one in my mouth and four in my hands... that makes five!)

Micke Grove Zoo

Since it has been so hot, we haven't gotten out of the house a whole lot for the past couple of weeks, so today Mommy & Nana decided to take me to the zoo. We went to Micke Grove zoo which is only about 40 minutes away from home. It isn't very big either, so it was the perfect zoo for me to see for my first time.
The first thing we saw at the zoo was some screaming monkeys. As you can see, I wasn't too thrilled with their noisiness. But I got used to it after a while.
The turkey was my favorite animal at the zoo. He "gobbled" at me and made me laugh.
Here I am watching the sea lion get his lunch.
I got to observe him from a glass window and I could see him swim around in his pool.
There were lots of birdies and monkeys to see.

It was a little hot that day, but there are lots of big trees that provided shade. My favorite way to drink water is from a bicycle water bottle. I really love pushing the stroller instead of riding in it. Lucky for us, there weren't too many people at the zoo today, so I got to drive and run around without being strapped into the stroller all morning.
You can even learn things at the zoo. I am learning about what a mountain lion eats.

Crazy Hair

Here is what happens when you stay up late having fun and eating good food with your family and friends (and when really loud fireworks go off around your house all night long) ......crazy but cute!!!

Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July! We went to a party at Auntie Corinne's & Uncle Todd's house with lots of family & friends.
Here I am playing on the stairs at my Auntie Corinne's house. Stairs are easy entertainment for me right now! Here I am kicking my feet in the pool with my Nana.
