Bubbles with Daddy

On Father's Day we had a nice, small family BBQ at our house. The food & company were great! Daddy and I had fun playing with bubbles together.

Toddler Bed

Daddy & I converted the crib to a toddler bed this morning and today I took my first nap in there. As you can see, that was pretty successful. We will see how it goes tonight! I am such a big girl now!

Adventures in Potty Training

Well, there are no pictures of this, but we wanted to share with you how potty training is going. I am still wearing pull-ups until I decide to start telling everyone when I have to go potty, but for the most part, I am keeping them dry all day and all night long. I even went potty in a public place yesterday without my potty seat! Everyone was very proud of me!

I keep saying that I am "Ready for the beach." Mommy & Daddy don't really know how I got this idea into my head, but I am being very persistent. Lucky for me they were already planning to take me there soon!

Being Crafty

Mommy bought me this neat kit to make paper bag puppets. Today, we started with the birdie. (Surprise, surprise!) Bek, one of Mommy's students that just graduated, was over to visit and she helped me make the birdie.

This morning while Daddy washed Mommy's car, I washed mine.

Then I dried it off.

And, I didn't want my picture taken while I lounged in my car after all of that hard work.

At the Cabin

We went to the cabin to help clear the lot of pine needles before fire season. Great Grandma Coyle has lots of toys left up there from when my Mommy was a kid. I found some Leggos and convinced my Uncle Raymond to play with me.

I had a very important job as stick collector.

I got to watch Disney movies with Daddy and eat mac & cheese on the couch. We watched Jungle Book. I hadn't seen this one before but I really liked it.

Then I sat with Grandpa and watched Great Grandma make ice cream.

Riding my bike, hanging with Daddy, & Babysitting

I have been up to lots of different, fun things since Mommy has been off of work. We play outside a lot everyday, especially since the weather has been so nice lately. I have been practicing on my trike and on my Dora bike and I am getting pretty good. Hopefully we will have video of that soon!
My favorite things to do outside are chalk and bubbles and hopscotch. I love skipping too.

Before Daddy leaves for work we snuggle on the couch and I get to dip my finger in his whipped cream (on top of his coffee). So cheeky!

This week we babysat my cousins Emma & Ava. We had a pretty good day. The babies are really easy and I wasn't too jealous.

A Sign of Things to Come

Mommy is officially on summer vacation now so there should be more frequent blog updates in our future! I know that excites our readers :)
